Emoticons annoy me.

I hate people who 'converse' on MSN using emoticons and whatsoever. That does not amount to a conversation and it irritates me so. An example would be:

A: Hi
Me: Hello.
A: :)
Me: Er, what's up?
A: :D \m/
Me: ...........................

Thanks ah. That so answers my question. And it's such an effective conversational method, don't you think so?
